Having more power does not mean you are more important. It only means you should be more responsible.

Let us consider our place on earth. The human species has the power to eradicate all mammals and all the trees. This puts the onus of responsibility on us humans to impinge the least footprint possible on the natural environment. Because logic makes us conclude that each component in the web of life and the stratum supporting it are important.

Life does not seem to be fair and just. But this does not mean you should not strive for fairness and justice in your patch and in your area of influence.
