The Leone Band of Victoria last Tuesday gave a concert at Savina Square, Victoria, to mark the feast of Santa Marija being celebrated in Victoria tomorrow.

The band, under the direction of Colin Attard, performed Per La Festa Di Maria Assunta In Cielo (1913) by Orlando Crescimanno, among others. Taking part were the Chorus Ecclesiae Cathedralis, the Cathedral Youth Choir, tenor Charles Vincenti and baritone Alfred Camilleri.

Other works and themes played by the band were Innu Lil Santa Marija Assunta, El Cid, The Godfather, The Legend of the Glass Mountain, Movie Blockbusters, Mancini Magic, A Morricone Portrait, John Williams in Concert and the hymn Il Leone.
