Management Essentials is an interactive three-day programme course developed and delivered by experienced trainers Joseph Farrugia and Karl Grech from StreetHR, as well as guest speaker Joseph F.X. Zahra, co-founder, SurgeAdvisory.

The programme, delivered over a six-week period, will make use of various interactive learning methods including Lego Serious Play materials and methods to ensure a unique learning experience.

This course is specifically designed for employees who are already in leadership and management positions or for those who aspire to be in such positions. Participants will be provided with the necessary tools and insights to become successful leaders or managers.

The course will also enable a better understanding of the essential roles of management in supporting the organisation to achieve higher levels of performance and a more engaged workforce.

By the end of the programme delegates will have a wider view of a range of management subjects and essential activities. They will gain appreciation of the role of human resource management in supporting the company achieving its goals professionally. Delegates will be better equipped with the right management and leadership tools that will enable practical implementation and transferability to the workplace.

They will be able to discover, discuss and reflect on self-styles and approaches within a range of situations while reflecting strategically on the main factors that contribute to the bigger picture. The first day of the programme will be held on April 18 and will focus on leadership for success. This will be followed by human resources management and innovation on May 10 and managing time on May 22.

Participants will be presented with a certificate of attendance. The course qualifies as structured CPE under Professional Development Competency.
