A book on Sicilian decorative arts in Malta is being launched in Mdina today.

Intrecci Preziosi: Arti Decorative Siciliane A Malta 1565-1798 was penned by Roberta Cruciata and marks a collaboration between the Department of History of Art at the University of Malta, Palazzo Falson and St Paul’s Mdina Cathedral Museum.

Cruciata first came to Malta as an intern at Palazzo Falson and then went on to research Sicilian-Maltese artistic links in great depth. This publication is a result of her PhD thesis.

■ The book launch is taking place at the Mdina Cathedral Museum today at 6.30pm. Everyone is invited. For more information, call Palazzo Falson on 2145 4512 or send an e-mail to info@palazzofalson.com.
