An exhibition of contemporary landscapes by Anthony Caruana is being held at the Banca Giuratale in Victoria until February 26.

The paintings reveal the artist’s love for vibrant colour using bold brushstrokes and the impasto technique.

Caruana’s works are deeply rooted in a sense of environmental responsibility.

Through his works, the artist expresses his support for the plan for Gozo with a vision to truly reinvent itself as an eco-island. The paintings remind the community that nature still exists... in a still beautiful, but increasingly fragile state.

The exhibition can be viewed Monday to Friday from 8 a.m. until 3 p.m., Saturdays from 8 a.m. until noon and Sundays from 9 a.m. until 11.45 a.m.
