Miriam Dalli has been chosen by the Socialist Group in the European Parliament as one of the MEPs meant to work on a European energy security strategy.

Dr Dalli said that energy security was the basis for any energy policy.

“The fact that I come from Malta, a small European island state with an isolated energy system helps me understand how energy security cannot be taken for granted,” she said.
