L-Ittra, the last theatre script written by Lino Grech before his death in 2013, is being put up under the direction of Charles Stroud. The author’s works have included a number of TV series, including F’baħar Wieħed, Simpatiċi and Ingroppi.

The production kicks off with the delivery of a letter, (Grech himself started off as a postman) to an illiterate farm couple who, upon receiving, it build castles in the air, as the letter is addressed to their son who is away in Gozo at the time.

The cast includes Tereża Gauci, Ronald Saliba, Sandro Attard, Lenard Falzon, Lino Gatt, Roderick Castillo and Tania Bartolo.

L-Ittra runs today at 7pm at the Catholic Institute, Floriana. Tickets are available online.
