President Marie-Louise Coleiro Preca and her husband, Edgar, were shown the meticulous restoration work being done on priceless 18th century Flemish tapestries that were given to St John’s Co-Cathedral by Aragonese Grand Master Ramon Perellos y Roccaful. The tapestries, the largest complete set in the world, made up of 29 pieces, are being restored at De Wit – Royal Manufacturers of Tapestry in Mechelen, Belgium.
