Week Four of the MSV Life National League at the SuperBowl saw Turu’s Knights continue their ascent of the standings and take the top spot after an 8-0 demolition of Supreme.

Previous table-toppers Ramis slipped to third after a 6-2 loss at the hands of fourth-placed Fina as okmalta.com took six points from their win against Rogantino’s to go second.

In other matches, The Clan bagged a 7-1 win over MIA and J. Grima & Co came out on the better end of a 6-2 result against St James Hospital.

Supreme certainly didn’t live up to their name as they crashed to a big defeat at the hands of an in-form Turu’s Knights outfit.

The Knights were the only side to take all eight points in Week Four and with other results going in their favour they even managed to snatch the lead from the hands of Ramis.

Game one provided the Knights with a one-sided 778-687 icebreaker and they went four ahead with an even easier 776-646 game two win.

The match surely belonged to Turu’s Knights as the last of the series got underway, and they won that with a great 837-737 as a final flourish to complete the whitewash.

okmalta.com are now second, after their majority victory over Rogantino’s.

The defending champions opened their account with a huge 245-pin game advantage over their opponents. Game two was much closer, falling 728-707 to okmalta.com, who then slipped to a surprising 659 allowing Rogantino’s a two-point share for the latter’s 683 effort.
