The Housing Authority’s two rental schemes, Kiri, attracted 652 applications, Social Solidarity Minister Marie Louise Coleiro Preca told Clyde Puli (PN) in reply to a parliamentary question.

Of the 397 applications for the first scheme, 301 were contracted, six are still pending and 90 were refused.

In the second scheme, the 255 applications were broken down into nine contracted, 159 pending and 87 refused.
