I wish to thank some people from Marsascala who really behaved like Good Samaritans.

I was walking when suddenly I tripped over a bundle of nylon fishing lines which were left on the pavement (and secured to the railing) possibly by some fishermen. I fell against the iron railing, hitting and cutting my forehead, nose and a few fingers, besides being bruised and injuring my leg and thumb.

I was bleeding when I got up and totally confused, but some kind people stopped their cars and helped me to an emergency unit at a Żabbar hospital.

I don’t know their name and address but I know the young lady who drove my car to the clinic is from Marsascala while her boyfriend is from Żabbar.

I thank them from the bottom of my heart for their kindness which gives pride to the whole Maltese people for their altruism and humanity.
