The Luqa Local Council, with the support of the Island Karting Club, will be promoting a family-friendly gathering for the people of the village as well as visitors to collect funds for the Malta Community Chest Fund, tomorrow.

One of the main attractions is an invitation to karting drivers to show their skills on the roads of the village, namely St Andrew’s Street, Dun Pawl Street and St George’s Street, starting at 10 a.m.

This is not meant to be a Luqa Grand Prix, but simply a way for a group of talented karting drivers to have some fun in a few timed runs and provide entertainment to spectators in a safe environment for the benefit of people who might need some financial support.

Drivers of Motards and Scooters or Minimoto, from the Island Motorcycle Racing Club, will also take part.
