I support those calling for the immediate setting up of shelters and water facilities for karrozzin horses.
Working horses are unfortunately seen in other hot countries, but the authorities understand the need for their basic needs.
I have seen many horses suffer this utter intolerance and I am pretty sure that most of them show signs of dehydration.
Why are the Maltese authorities so slow in showing compassion and delivering their commitment?
Will whoever is responsible for the delay in providing these basic necessities get down to setting up whatever is necessary since these poor horses can’t voice their suffering?
Something must be done before summer.
