Five members of the Tenchi Ryu Kempo Karate Jutsu school in Gozo recently represented Malta at the Kempo Arnis Federation Spring Training Camp in Novo Mesto, Slovenia.

Over 100 participants from Slovenia, Malta, Italy, Germany and the Canary Islands attended the camp, which consisted of 25 hours of intense professional instruction in karate training methods.

At the end of the programme several awards were presented during a banquet dinner.Grandmaster Borut Kincl headand founder of the KempoArnis Federation, presentedSensei Joseph Portelli acertificate of affiliation, sincehe is the official representativeof Kempo Arnis Federationin Malta.

Grandmaster Kincl also commended Sensei Alex Vella Muskat, Felix Sammut, Joseph Sultana and Joseph Portelli Jr for their dedication and hard work.
