A discussion with Giorgio Borg on the popular Italian football team, Juventus, is being held at the Italian Cultural Institute tomorrow.
Over time Juventus Football Club has become a symbol of the nation’s Italianità, due to its tradition of success.
Juventus is recognised as one of the most influential clubs in international football, having its players performing a decisive role in Italy’s World Cup triumphs of 1934, 1982 and 2006.
The club’s fan base is larger than any other Italian football club and one of the largest worldwide. Support for Juventus is widespread throughout the mother country and abroad, mainly in countries with a significant presence of Italian immigrants.
Borg will answer participants’ questions over a glass of wine and some treats. Everybody is welcome.
The event is being held tomorrow at the Italian Cultural Institute, Valletta, at 6.30pm. Entrance in free.
