Juventus have confirmed the double signing of Kwadwo Asamoah and Mauricio Isla from Serie A rivals Udinese in a deal that sees Cristian Pasquato move in the opposite direction.

Juventus have agreed a co-ownership agreement with Udinese that could eventually see them pay €18 million for the services of Ghanaian midfielder Asamoah and €18.8 million for Chilean winger Isla.

Reports said that under the terms of the deal, Udinese will retain half of the economic rights for each player.

The duo will spend at least next season at Juve, with both teams to review the agreement at the end of that campaign.

Asamoah, 23, has made over 100 league appearances for Udinese after arriving in 2008, while 24-year-old Isla has been dep-loyed in a variety of roles in both defence and midfield since arriving at the club in 2007.

Speaking about his switch to the Italian champions, Isla said: “This is a dream come true. I am going to the strongest team in Italy at the moment.

“It is important for me as a player but it is also vital for my family. I have been working for years to get to this point.

“In Udine, I became a professional, but I have always said that sooner or later I would go to a bigger club like Juventus.”

Pasquato, 22, came through the ranks at Juve but leaves having made just one first-team appearance in the past four years.
