‘E-corks’ a Junior Achievement Young Enterprise company from the Junior College, Msida, that had won the HSBC Bank Malta Company of the Year 2011 award, is representing Malta in the European Junior Achievement Young Enterprise Company Programme Competition in Oslo, Norway, that is being held between last Thursday and today.

The team is made up of five college students who created a reliable, durable, innovative and environmentally friendly product to store data. The ‘Corkie’ is a ‘chip on board’ micro pen drive which is super fast in terms of data access.

The product is also shockproof, water resistant, fire retardant, buoyant and dust proof.
