Students from Valencia’s Gran Asociacion Colegio recently visited Malta as part of a student exchange with the University’s Junior College.

The students visited Valletta, Mdina, Vittoriosa and Victoria.

They also visited the Alphonse Mucha exhibition at the National Museum of Archaeology in Valletta, and were given a presentation by Stephen Spiteri and George Grima about the ongoing restoration of the Mdina bastions, organised by the Restoration Unit in the Ministry for Resources and Rural Affairs.

Such intercultural projects encourage students to explore different countries and cultures, promote the learning of foreign languages, stimulate mutual understanding between young people of different nationalities, and personal development.
