A long-standing event in the social calendar of the UK MalteseCultural Movement is the annual celebration of the feast of Maria Bambina.

Celebrations, which were attended by the President and Mrs George Abela, included an exhibition of Maltese food and drink. One of the exhibitors was Jubilee Foods.

General manager Ruth Camilleri said: “We were overwhelmed by the positive response to our products... traditional coffee and qubbajd helped to connect people. Such events have a positive impact on the tourism market.”

Meanwhile, Jubilee Foods will join over 6,500 exhibitors and 150,000 trade visitors at the Anuga Food Fair in Cologne, Germany, between Saturday and October 12.

The Anuga fair will coincide with the launch of the Jubilee Foods online shop.
