Jobigloo.com, one of Malta’s leading jobsites and the largest free job portal, has been live for a year.

Launched at the end of April last year, Jobigloo.com now has more than 8,000 page views, over 5,000 unique visitors per month and a daily average of more than 200 jobs featured on the site.

Maltese jobseekers have shown how they turn to jobigloo.com for its simplicity – with a few clicks users may apply for several jobs. The site now offers an advanced search tool and candidates are able to sort vacancies by relevance or publication date.

The careerpassport team – the people behind Jobigloo – are now geared to build on the developments and results of the past 12 months. New features such as a company careers page are works in progress. The alert system, which makes it easy for job seekers to be notified when a job matching their preferences is posted on line, is also going to be improved.

E-business manager Matthew Caruana said: ‘The positive feedback we’re getting from our clients encourages us to enhance and improve the free posting service. The numerous candidates coming to the site drives us to continue growing and developing Jobigloo.com.”

Jobigloo.com is a brand of Careerpassport. Careerpassport Limited was set up in 2009 to develop a web-based solution that allows employers to manage their own recruitment needs.
