Winter Moods’ frontman Ivan Grech returns with a solo concert this evening with proceeds going towards ALS Malta.

The concert will see Grech performing some of his band’s greatest hits as well as his  favourite tunes.

Following on the success of his first solo venture last year, his concert is set to become an annual event.

“I am overwhelmed by the big heart and generosity of my followers and the Maltese people. This is what this concert is all about, bringing together everyone in a celebration of music and charity,” said Grech, who is renowned for his involvement in social initiatives with various organisations in past years.

“We are working very closely with Bjorn Formosa and all at ALS Malta to support his drive to finalise the ALS Home,” he added.

Multi-instrumentalist and songwriter Pascal Kravetz, renowned for touring the world with top international musicians, will be joining him on stage.

Grech will be accompanied by Jeremy Micallef and David Cassar Torregiani on guitars, David Ciantar on keyboards, Robert Galea on bass and Raphael Tonna on drums.

The backing vocalists will be Angela Spiteri, Jackie Pace Delicata and Louisa Frendo Wirth.

The concert is being held today at Ta’ Liesse in Valletta at 8pm. For tickets, visit www.showshappening.com.
