Italy has seized a hotel complex and land belonging to the family of slain Libyan dictator Muammar Gaddafi, which Italian TV station Rai Uno has reported was linked to a Maltese company.

The property, on the island of Pantelleria, was confiscated by court order and is estimated to be worth some €20 million, the Ansa news agency reported. The complex was not identified and the Maltese company not named. In March, Italy had seized more than €1.1 billion worth of assets controlled by the late dictator’s family.
