Young Italian pianist Bruno Francesco Leone will today perform during a lunchtime concert at the Augustinian Monastery in Valletta.

Leone is currently touring Italy and Europe to showcase his broad pianistic repertoire.

Today he will be performing Beethoven’s Sonata Op. 28 No. 15 Pastorale; Scriabin’s Sonata Op. 6 No. 1; Brahms’s Zwei Rhapsodien Op. 79 and Schumann’s Faschingschwank aus Wien Op. 26.

After the concert, visitors will have the opportunity to enjoy a free, guided tour of the chambers of the monastery which are adorned with beautiful and historical sacred ornaments.

Proceeds from the event will go towards the restoration project of the Augustinian Monastery.
