The Malta Union of Teachers has expressed its concern about the lack of “adequate internet access” during the past two years at the Art and Design Institute at Tarġa Gap, Mosta.

Contacted by the union, The Malta College of Arts, Science and Technology said internet access would be restored by the end of the month but no “definite commitment” was made. The union said this was “completely unacceptable” especially because academic staff had to resort to their own resources at their expense.

MUT added that necessary funds should be allocated to ensure the restoration of internet access at the institute.
