Award-winning Maltese singer-songwriter Kristina Casolani recently signed a record deal with one of Italy’s top dance record labels, Net’s Work Records.

Casolani recently collaborated with DJs Pizza Brothers on a remix of her award-winning song Get Out. The label also had the song remixed by other DJs and has released an album of all the remixes, which is available worldwide on iTunes, juno.co.uk, deejay.de and discopiu.com among others. It is also selling in stores in Europe and will be hitting the US market very soon.

Casolani and Pizza Brothers performed in Rome last February and were interviewed on various Italian radio stations, among them Radio Deejay and M2O. Get Out has gone down very well in Italy, reaching top positions on various Italian radio and dance charts.

The Maltese singer is now working on new material, with further collaborations featuring Pizza Brothers, Nicola Zucchi and other foreign DJs, also scheduled for release very shortly.

Meanwhile, Casolani is also busy working on corporate jingles at Jingles Malta and setting up a new venture, MOMO’s Ristorante at Tigné Point, with award-winning chef Claudio Trovato, bringing together her passion for music and good food.

The novel concept behind MOMO’s embraces both personalities, with an à la carte menu served in the restaurant’s ‘main stage’ area, and KC cicchetti (tapas) in the ‘backstage’ Music and Cicchetti area where Casolani, as well as other local acts, will perform live acoustic sessions.
