Vanni Pulé recently completed his year as international president of the US-based International Brotherhood of Magicians, the largest organisation of its kind in the world with over 13,000 members in 88 countries.
Throughout the past 12 months he visited many countries accompanied by his wife, Mary Anne Pulé, presenting honours to deserving members, including Italian icon Silvan, addressing conferences and meetings, lecturing, judging magic competitions and even performing.
At the Brotherhood’s convention in Norfolk, Virginia, last month the audience gave Mr Pulé a rousing standing ovation for his services to magic. Mr Pulé will continue to have a vote on the Brotherhood’s board and will be involved in its various committees.
Following the convention, he flew to Blackpool for the ‘Grand Prix’ of magic organised by the Fédération Internationale des Sociétés Magiques, attended by thousands of magicians from all over the world.
