I am writing this letter for the attention of the English schools that are placing their students in hotels. We the residents in the Sir Arturo Mercieca/Windsor streets area in Sliema are tired of the nightly disturbance we are subject to every night during this time of year.

Why aren’t these students supervised? Do the parents know their children spend the night out unsupervised and come back in the early hours of the morning drunk? There is shouting from the balconies and in the street during the evening/night and it gets worse in the early hours of the morning.

This has to stop!
