Malta’s industrial production for March rose slightly over the total for February.

Production totals rose by 1.8 per cent, which the National Statistics Office (NSO) said was due to more intermediate and consumer goods being produced.

However, there was a dip in energy and capital goods production, by 2.2 and 0.3 per cent respectively.

The NSO’s report is part of the Index of Industrial Production, which measures cycles of economic activity over recent years.
