There is nothing more pitiable than John Guillaumier (February 28), once more compulsively shaking his impotent fist at a God who, in the correspondent’s atheist ‘wisdom’, does not even exist, while mocking all those who believe in Him, in His justice and in His mercy.
He is in dire need of the prayers of the believers he mocks so that the merciful God whom they love and respect (not fear, please) may treat him mercifully.
His declaration that he is at “peace with himself” is belied by his recurrent need to broadcast, unsolicited, his self-satisfaction with his conviction (or, perhaps, a disavowed fear) with regard to the Christian belief in a meeting with Christ on Judgement Day.
