I would like to thank the management of both Arriva and Transport Malta for their immediate action following my various complaints about the route 33 buses.

On one occasion, I complained about the 12.45 p.m. bus (July 9) leaving one hour and 10 minutes late.

On July 18, the 12.45 p.m. route 33 bus left only 57 minutes late.

Now that’s what I call “a marked improvement in punctuality” (with apologies to Arriva Malta managing director David Kaye).

Are these people, who are being paid from our taxes, accountable to anybody?
