The Dance Workshop has now established itself as one of the leading dance schools on the island.  The principal, Theresa Lungaro-Mifsud, together with her dynamic staff, ensures that the students work in a professional yet friendly environment, where each dancer is given the individual attention needed.

Each year, dance experts from all over the world are invited to give master classes and workshops to the students. These have included Robert North, Richard Glasstone, Lucia Pravisani, Michele di Molfetta, Enrico Morelli, Gillian Hurst and Kate Simmons.

This ensures that standards are as high as possible and that students work regularly with professionals.

Imagination and musicality are the main items on the agenda with three- and four-year-olds, and slowly, technique and discipline are introduced in the older groups.

Senior students at The Dance Workshop have won coveted places at The Royal Ballet Summer School – London, London Contemporary School and Agora Coaching Project in Reggio Emilia.  Students are presented for international examinations and recently Theresa has started studying the American Ballet Theatre National Training Curriculum, after being awarded two scholarships.
