The Institute of Tourism Studies offers a wide range of courses to accommodate individuals, aimed at meeting the changing needs of the travel, hospitality and tourism industries. Students may now also further their studies with three newly launched degree programmes.

The institute offers programmes of study at Certificate, Diploma, Higher Levels and Degree Programmes for careers in hospitality and tourism management, hotel operations, accommodation operations, travel agency operations, travel and tourism, tour guiding and programmes of studies for cruise liners. Programmes of study are also offered in food preparation and production and food and beverage service.

Registrations for scholastic year 2017-2018 will be open between July 17 and August 4for new applicants. Current ITS students who intend to pursue their studies further may apply between August 7 and 11.

Information sessions regarding the various programmes of study are scheduled to be held at the ITS campus, St George’s Bay, St Julian’s. Those interested in the Foundation in Hospitality and Tourism programme may gather further information on July 25 at 9.30am.

Further information on the Travel and Tourism Programme (Certificate, Diploma and Higher National Diploma) and the Rooms Division Programme (Certificate, Diploma and Higher National Diploma) will be provided on July 26 at 9.30am and 11.30am respectively.

Information sessions on the Events and Leisure Programme (Certificate, Diploma and Higher National Diploma) and the Food Preparation and Production Programme (Certificate, Diploma and Higher National Diploma) are scheduled to be held on July 27 at 9.30am and 11.30am respectively.

Those interested in the Higher National Diploma in Tour Guiding may gather more information on July 28 at 9.30am.

The new programmes of studies for information on cruise liners will be held on July 31 at 9.30am, whereas, information on the newly launched bachelor degree programmes will be provided on August 1 at 9.30am.
