I have voted Labour for the last 50 years but I will never do so again. My large family are all Maltese but we, like the vast majority of Maltese, do not like it that beautiful creatures created by God are hunted down.

Like Judas, for a few pieces of gold the PL has betrayed the majority of voters. And now comes the boast that a “gap” has been found in the law which may help the trappers.

Shame on Labour. Malta is the only country in the world where you never see these creatures of the skies.

Now thanks to the new government, this is assured. This attests to the fact that Labour fully supports the hunters and to hell with the rest of the population. Is this democracy?

To kill something that God has created, for pleasure, especially when it gives people happiness and is not harming anyone, is cruel and a sin.

Some of these birds are rare. Yet Labour does not know, or pretends not to know, that hunting will quicken their extinction.

When I was a little boy I was told that the Great Mystery of the Holy Trinity is about God the Father creating his Son in his image to show his love for the human race. And in the Third Person he created a bird to show us his love for all the birds and other animals. Need I say more?
