The forth edition of the three-day Homes of Quality Golf Tournament came to an end last month. Jan Stibbs won the tournament, which took place at the Royal Malta Golf Club.

The tournament opened with 160 participants and included stableford competitions for the ladies’ and men’s categories. The top 72 scorers from the qualifying rounds competed in the final for the grand prize – a trip for two to a golfing resort in Tuscany.

J. J. Micallef and Laine Tutane qualified as best players in the men’s and ladies’ categories respectively. Best runners-up were Boerkhard Loehner and Janice Blackburn.

Homes of Quality chairman Frank Salt thanked the competitors and expressed his satisfaction at seeing such keen participation by the golfers.

Director Grahame Salt said the region of Tuscany was chosen as the grand prize because of its variety of golf courses, some set close to the sea and others in the picturesque countryside.
