The summer season was launched in style at the newly refurbished Hola Beach Club in Marfa, with a lavish party thrown for members and guests.

Patrons were treated to a sumptuous buffet of Spanish tapas and dishes prepared and served by executive chef Daniel Zammit and his team. DJ Liam and guitarist David Ellul livened up the scene with the latest tunes.

The beach club has undergone a complete makeover by designer Penny Apap Brown. The concept of this club is an all-inclusive one where members buy a seasonal and day membership and avail themselves of all services, food and drinks to their heart’s content.

Weekend evenings are full of activity with live performances and music by resident deejays Liam and St James. A typical Spanish tapas menu is available; this is ideal for sharing among friends while enjoying a glass of wine or cocktails from the bar.

The venue is fast becoming popular for special occasions and for beach weddings with young couples keen to celebrate the most memorable day of their lives on a unique palm-lined beach with views of Comino across the channel.
