Hilton’s barmen Damian Muscat and Joe Xuereb placed first and second respectively in the National Cocktail Competition organised annually by the Maltese Bartenders Guild.

The competition took place at the Mellieħa Bay Hotel where Muscat and Xuereb faced 18 contestants. Muscat’s creation was the Moulin Rouge, while Xuereb’s was Pacific.

Muscat will now be competing against the best international cocktail makers at the World Cup to be held at the Hilton Warsaw, Poland. in November.
