December 11 marked Hilltop Gardens’ first-year anniversary. A year after its launch in December 2015, Hilltop Gardens is serving an exclusive client base and delivering a unique service in Malta.

Hilltop Gardens is the first and only luxury retirement village on the island. Spread over 17,000 square metres of land, the village is a self-contained upmarket resort aimed at those who want to make the best of their later years.

“It’s been an incredible year,” said CEO Jacqueline Camilleri. “Start-ups are always very exciting. The hard work paid off and it’s been an absolute pleasure to be able to provide such a superior service to clients.”

The anniversary celebrations kicked off with a violin and piano concert by Sarah Spiteri and Alex Vella Gregory, accompanied by soprano Marita Bezzina and Albert Buttigieg on base. The performance took the audience through a journey of well-known traditional pieces such as Silent Night and Gesu Bambino to more elaborate arrangements like Ciaccona for violin and piano by Tomaso Vitali.

Following the concert, residents, clients, partners, colleagues, family and friends joined Ms Camilleri, AX Group CEO Michael Warrington and director Denise Xuereb at a stand up reception which culminated in the cutting of the celebratory cake and the exchange of good wishes for the future of Hilltop.
