The Save A Life Foundation has partnered with the Għaqda tal-Pawlini in Valletta to set up the St Paul’s Cultural Academy aimed at encouraging children and youths to appreciate cultural heritage.

The foundation, chaired by MP Claudio Grech, will be funding the establishment of the academy by providing a structured set-up to enable children and young people to learn a number of trades and crafts which are intrinsically linked to Malta’s cultural heritage and the traditional festa.

Some of the initiatives will be run jointly by the St Elmo Primary school in Valletta.

This is the foundations’ fourth project in the community, with the aim of engaging the young in localities where they have been set up.

Mr Grech and his wife Charmaine established the foundation in 2013 to support NGOs in under-privileged communities of the first district and help them provide young people with opportunities to take part in meaningful activities.
