Heritage Malta’s senior curator of natural history, John Borg, will be addressing the second monthly cultural lecture organised by the national agency and will focus on Maltese naturalists from the 16th to the early 20th century.

The lecture, entitled ‘From Abela to Zammit – A biographic overview of the Maltese naturalists from the 16th to the early 20th century’, will highlight the lives and works of Maltese well-known as well as lesser-known naturalists.

The aim of this series of lectures is to make Malta’s heritage more accessible to the public.

Lectures are delivered by experts in different fields and will focus on various aspects of heritage, including archaeology, conservation, history, natural history, photography and maritime.

The lecture will be held today between 10am and noon at the National Museum of Archaeology in Valletta. For more information, call 2295 4000.
