Big Bon Group has invested more than €400,000 in its newly-opened Pronovias store, one of the most sought-after names in bridal wear, which has joined the network of 3,800 sales points in 75 countries worldwide.

The fully-fledged store, specifically designed to the international franchise’s strict guidelines, is located on the site of the former Carmelo Delia showroom at The Strand in Gżira.

Spread over 215 square metres, it includes five fitting rooms and two VIP changing rooms. It also features extensive window displays of the Pronovias and designer-line collections.

The Pronovias brand has a rich tradition that dates back to its first establishment in Barcelona in 1922. It was the first company to combine the bridal and prêt-à-porter concepts in a single, innovative project.

Pronovias also sells cocktail and evening dresses, and its presence in Malta is expected to introduce a new level of quality and choice to the market, said Big Bon Group general manager Mario Camilleri.

The group already has a long list of reputable international brands but it has been “longing for this type because it fills a very important gap in our franchise offer,” Mr Camilleri said.

Besides wedding and cocktail dresses, Pronovias also offers ancillary accessories, such as wedding shoes, tiaras and other related items, under one roof.
