Special thanks to all the members of the Mission Fund for their donation of €2,000, which greatly helps the poor in Chak, Pakistan.

Sr Rachele Agius would like to thank all the generous bene-factors and promises them her prayers.

Sr Agius, along with the community of sisters in Chak, takes care of 100 children, orphans and those coming from very poor families who reside at our institute.

She also helps lots of other poor people from other areas who go to her to seek help, some of them travelling long distances. They go for various needs; some go for medical reasons and some of these will need to be operated upon with urgency. Others need medical treatment, which she provides, and she even gives them the necessary medicine to recover. She helps the poor, irrespective of their beliefs, for whatever they need.

I appeal to the Maltese people to send donations, used stamps and telecards to: Mission Fund, ‘Eureka Court’, Block A, Flat 6, Main Street, Mosta MST 1018.

In this way, this organisation can keep on helping Maltese missionaries working in Third World countries.
