I cannot agree more with Lino Debono in his article ‘Maltese quislings’ (November 28).

I’m no Labourite, nor a Nationalist. I’m one of those who elect the government without being influenced by the party in power. Here, I am not speaking about the election but about the MEPs tarnishing Malta’s reputation in Brussels.

A Chinese proverb says: whoever insults his own country, in a dump he deserves to be buried.

There will come a time when those who spread the false news that Daphne Caruana Galizia’s murder was political will have to eat their words.

Come election time, the MEPs in question and their party will not be forgiven for the damage they are inflicting on our beloved island.
