Bayern Munich coach Pep Guardiola says he has not met up with his successor Carlo Ancelotti, who has been spotted in the city.
Ancelotti will replace Guardiola when he moves to Manchester City in the summer and the Italian has spent the last few days in Munich, although no meetings with club bosses have been announced.
His presence was not a problem for Guardiola, however, who said yesterday that it is “only normal” that he visits the city.
“I didn’t meet him – I was in Bochum (for a DFB-Pokal tie) and then I spent time with my family,” Guardiola said.
“It’s only normal that Carlo Ancelotti is in Munich.”
