As part of its commitment to provide reliable and convenient postal services Malta Post has increased its postal vehicle fleet which now includes nine Euro V Fiat Doblo vans, eight Euro V Ford Transit Connect vans, three large tail lifts and two mobile post offices. The company is constantly working to reduce its carbon footprint through the introduction of hybrid vehicles to its fleet. This fleet is being leased from Burmarrad Commercials as part of an agreement which was signed earlier this year. All the vehicles have been rebranded with new livery. Malta Post’s CEO Joseph Gafà explains how “Malta Post has constantly invested in improving its service towards our customers in the best way possible, more so in light of the current shift in trends and the increase in e-commerce. Clients’ online shopping is on the rise and we therefore strive to gear our service to accommodate these trends.”
