The playing field in Pretty Bay, Birżebbuġa, poses a great danger to children. I have been trying to draw attention to the hazards for more than a year but I always get the excuse that the tender is still undergoing some kind of process.
A couple of weeks ago, another child fell and broke his arm due to lack of maintenance.
Whatever process the tender is going through, they must still maintain what already exists.
Now, instead of the works taking place in winter, they may well start during the summer when children should be enjoying the playground.
