The Taekwondo Dragon Club has just held their first grading examinations after starting functioning four months ago.

All activities were held at the Inspire Club in Marsascala as the club is now catering for 25 members under the guidance of founder Stephen Formosa.

Present for the occasion were high-ranking officials from the Malta Taekwondo Federation including president Brian Saliba and secretary general Joanne Zammit.

The candidates who made the grade for 9th Kup level (yellow stripes) were Keith Buttigieg, Travis Briffa, Tyrone Borg, Svein Ahar, Luke Camilleri, Jerome Vassallo, Jaden Cauchi, Jade Lorraine Pulis, Ismael Galea, Gordon Gilford, Daniel Vella, Daphne Vella, Clay-ton Baldacchino and Aron Galea.

Earlier this summer, the Taekwondo Dragon Club joined ranks with Bujinkan Malta for a training seminar which was conducted by Alfred Galea (10th Dan) and Sabomnim Formosa who is also a qualified gym and fitness instructor.
