I am doubly sure that most ofthe citizens of Victoria were extremely delighted to witness the reversal of the official carnival activities to their traditional venue of Independence Square, popularly known as It-Tokk.
Gozo’s first official carnival activities, and a very long spate of others that followed up to recent years, were always held in this central venue. Thus, it was really appropriate for the organising committee to stick to tradition.
This body should be publicly congratulated for reverting a past policy back to square one. Their ultimate decision is indeed a feather in their cap.
Correcting a foul merits the appreciation of one and all.
