The Malta FA is urging the sporting public to attend the Gowl għall-Istrina charity event which will be staged at the National Stadium tomorrow, starting at 4.15 p.m.

Malta President George Abela will be present for a series of football-related activities that takes off with a presentation of popular football personalities who all left a mark on the local game along these past 30 years when the sport migrated from the old Gżira stadium to Ta’ Qali.

A triangular tournament will be played involving a Maltese selection from the Premier League, a side composed of foreign players in local competitions and a team from Division One.

The entry charge will be a nominal two euros (adults and children) and proceeds will be going to l-Istrina campaign.

Gowl għall-Istrina will be transmitted live intermittently on local TV stations.
