When Lawrence Gonzi came out with the night electricity tariff Joseph Muscat did his best to ridicule the whole idea. In a sarcastic tone he even went so far to ask the Prime Minister to provide alarm clocks to households.

Just two weeks ago, things took a new turn.

Michelle Muscat was interviewed by The Sunday Times and is reported to have said: “I do the laundry during the night and time things so I get it in the dryer and then hang it or whatever”.

Muscat knew personally of the advantages of the night tariffs but for his political advancement is just ridiculing the whole idea. He is just misleading our households when his wife is already doing the laundry at night.

This continues to demonstrate Muscat’s incredulity.
