Prime Minister Lawrence Gonzi recently visited AtoZ Electronics in Attard where he discussed the state of the IT and electronics industry in Malta.

Dr Gonzi said he was aware of the difficulties faced by operators in the IT and electronics sector especially since this market was evolving at such a rapid pace. He said he admired firms for investing in a market where, what is considered state-of-the-art today, is soon replaced by newer products in a very short time.

AtoZ Electronics managing director Marvin Sammut told the Prime Minister that the company closely monitors the changing IT market and customer requirements and is continuously investing in better technology and marketing strategies.

He said AtoZ Electronics recently purchased a retail premises in Pitkali Road, Attard and also invested €35,000 in the development of a fully optimised FITA-certified e-commerce site.

AtoZ Electronics sales manager Noel Sammut said the company took its social corporate responsibility very seriously and sponsors various local groups, schools, foundations and sports clubs.
